A frontline social development group, Who Is Who Forum of Northern Cross River State (WWFNCRS) has felicitated the Governor of Cross River State, Sen Prince Bassey Otu as he marks his 65th birthday today.
The group in a statement joint signed by the convener and co-convener, Sir Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe and Johnny Agim SAN respectively applauded Governor Otu for “demonstrating a unique sense of leadership with commitment to the welfare of the people”.
While acknowledging his inclusive style of governance, they thanked him for facilitating the repatriation of the remains of our late leader and icon, former Senate President Dr. Joseph Wayas, GCON.
The statement reads in part, “On this auspicious event of your birth anniversary, the WHO IS WHO FORUM of Northern Cross River State heartily celebrates our dear Governor, Sweet Prince (Sen.) Bassey Otu.
“Of a truth, you have demonstrated a unique sense of leadership with commitment to the welfare of the people and enhancement of economic growth in the state.
“Your inclusive style of governance and people-first orientation have brought about a renewed sense of hope in all Cross Riverians irrespective of locality, religious or political affiliation.
“We as a forum particularly appreciate your efforts to restore the fortunes and assets of Cross River State, a feat we see you achieving already for the common good of the people. We recall as if it was yesterday how you facilitated the repatriation of the remains of our late leader and icon, former Senate President Dr. Joseph Wayas, GCON.
